King of the Sea VIII has been anything but boring.
There have been two hundred and sixty-five games spread across two hundred and three different matches. We’ve seen clashes between rivals. We’ve seen fresh faces squaring off against each other. We’ve seen ridiculous plays. We’ve seen how the carrier rework has changed competitive play. We’ve seen old teams fall. We’ve seen new teams rising up the rungs of the competitive ladder.
But what we haven’t seen yet ...is a champion.
Four teams remain, beginning with Rogue Fleet, a Top 16 team in King of the Sea VII who advances to the Top 4 for the first time.
PWP Fleet, having made their name in Clan Battles, advances to the finals in their very first King of the Sea.
SCCC, a Top 24 team in King of the Sea VII, is also making their first appearance in the Top 4.
And reigning champions Devastating Strike, who’ve taken on all comers thus far, and earned the right to defend their crown.
Today marks the culmination of the effort these four teams have invested over the past several weeks. The long marathon of King of the Sea comes down to one final match. Only three more wins separate one of these teams from glory, and holds the answer to the question:
Who will earn the right to be the next King of the Sea?
