After loosing ten planes, and not being able to make significant damages with either torpedoes and bombs, I believe Lexington gave up on trying to put a dent into this Soviet battleship! Although those air raids managed to cause a flooding once and knocked out the engine; however those damages were quickly fixed. It doesn't seem like the bombs were able to get through the armor deck either. I think the Lexington decided to try again, when Sovetsky Soyuz was nearly burned down by Monarch. In the end it was the fire from the British HE shells from Monarch, that ended up doing in the Soviet Union!
