What is this I hear about bow armor nerfs for T8+ battleships? In this video I explain the what, the how and the why for the change and give you insight into the game's various mechanics oriented around overmatch mechanics and the autobounce mechanics so you can explain how this change impacts various ships in the game. It's a long one, but a good one, I promise!

Here is the various T8+ Caliber overmatch values. As I said in the video, if the armor plate thickness is thinner than these values, that shell caliber will overmatch it and always penetrate for SOME damage.

-380mm (15" guns on Tirp/Bis): 26.57mm
-406mm (16" guns on USN ships): 28.39mm
-410mm (Nagato, Amagi, Izumo): 28.67mm
-420mm (16.5" guns on T9/T10 DE BB): 29.37mm
-460mm (Yamato): 32.17mm
