In this weeks World of Warships Ship Spotlight, Zettia gives us an in depth look at the Fuso class battleship, providing you with its history and gameplay tactics for this World of Warships battleship.

There have been no disappointments with the Japanese battleships and the Fuso is no exception.
Like all ships in WoWs, the Fuso battleship has its growing pains. It is rough coming out and getting into the first hull.
The first recommendation is to upgrade the propulsion. It doesn’t cost a lot of points and the upgrade is definitely worth it.
Like the Kongo, the Fuso has great range and good maneuverability. Getting the extra turrets costs you in some speed, but the trade off is well worth it.
The World of Warships Fuso battleship has six turrets with two 356mm cannons each. Once completely upgraded you can strike at over 20km.
She packs a punch but the sheer number of turrets can result in inaccuracy. To solve this problem, use the gun fire control mod 1 to improve the grouping of the shell.
The World of Warships Fuso battleship is a great go-to ship.


Fuso Battleship History

Although commissioned in 1915, the Fuso had no role in WWI.
During the interwar period she saw many modernizations;
superstructure was enlarged, aircraft launching
systems were added, and most important was the improvement to her AA armament.

By WWII, she was one of the oldest active battleships and had still not seen much action.
During the Battle of Surigao Strait, when Japanese and US battleships faced off, the Fuso took a hit from of torpedo and eventually sank.
