Another old record beaten by 7 seconds, and I know the time could be taken down further still. I'm a bit surprised that this only took 29 attempts - I got very lucky very early on I guess. Even though this run had some lucky moments and several pinkies died in one punch, there were also some unlucky moments where imps took 2 and 3 punches to die. Also, I did a BIG mistake after the red key and started running the WRONG WAY down the corridor. 2 seconds alone were lost there. Another possible improvement is switching to the fists just at the beginning, to not wait time switching weapons when you grab the berserk. I will go as far as saying that, with no mistakes, with some more luck, and with perfected movement, a sub 3m30 time should be possible.

It's surprising that a map that comes so late in episode 2 would be so easy to run. Dying is rarely a problem here, as there are 2 invincibilities, an early blue armor, and plenty of medkits around the level. The RNG of berserk punching is still a big factor anyway, and can mean that most speedruns are either super lucky runs, or complete garbage. With the randomness of the berserk, there is no middle ground; which can be frustrating at times.

I mostly used the route of [Radek Pecka, 2002], but did a few changes of my own. The first change was to run directly at the berserk pack in the warehouse without detours, and getting the small cell pack later while punching demons. Afterwards, when going past the blue door, I decided to ignore the invincibility sphere and leave it for later, to avoid another detour (this was also part of the route by [Xit Vono, 2002]). At the room with the shotgunners, I chose to open the door first, and use the opening time to press the switch. Finally, after grabbing the rocket launcher, I decided to use the rockets on the group of enemies while running backwards and grabbing the invincibility I had skipped earlier, that is a good moment for weapon switching anyway since I need to go back to the beginning to grab the last secret.
