Let's go see how far we can launch our tanks, and how hard the landings will be!
Unfortunately training rooms are not available in this test, so we do have to accept that some players want to shoot other players.

In this video I will be showing clips of the World of Tanks Beta Physics Test Server which was opened just a couple days ago. I will be explaining some things about the new physics, and generally just messing around with the big bumps and hills.

Wargaming.net has made it very clear that this server is to test the physics only, and does not represent the final product of any of the other features, including the new/improved rendering system. Please keep this in mind if you notice some 'hazy' graphics. Also, this server and the client seem to be shared between the US, EU, and RU players, so much of the 8.0 beta content is not in English.

I do not claim any kind of ownership of World of Tanks.

Possibly more footage to come once the actual 8.0 test server is released. I am GUESSING (un-official info) that the actual 8.0 test server will be out in the next month, and that 8.0 will be released a couple weeks after that. To my knowledge, no official dates have been released.

If you are having trouble signing into the beta server:
-re-type your password (this seems to be something I have to do regularly on the test server)
-note that the physics test server will stopped on roughly the 27th of August
-note that the server will be restarded every day at 5.00 UTC (10.00 PM PDT) Restart time is about 30 min
-"Only players who registered prior to August 14th 2012 can access the public test server." -this means that you had to sign up to World of Tanks, not register to something special for the test. Basically, if you played any version of WoT prior to August 14th, you will be able to join the test server.
-Also note that the test server is using old account data, so a tank you bought recently may not show up in the beta garage, etc.
