WoW Fraps Dungeon Recording Test 2
1Just some more testing of higher 5-man dungeon runs to see just what I can sustain in recordings and hold FPS-wise.
Even in the 5-minute mark where I dipped a bit, it still felt fluid so not sure if changing to a different capture drive would've bumped my FPS up any more.
For capturing at 60FPS gameplay, obviously the CPU / GPU has to send those extra frames to the HDD / SSD. So while I may not have double the FPS as shown from all those parts (it could be 90 to 200, generally), keep in mind any 60 FPS capture just is very resource intensive.
