Karazhan is an abandoned ancient tower located in Deadwind Pass. Karazhan is notable for its famous occupant, the last Guardian of Tirisfal, Medivh. You can use Medivh's staff, Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian, to teleport players to the front gate of Karazhan.
Karazhan used to require an elaborate attunement process, but now players can just enter on their own accord. There's some rare enchants and schematics in the zone, not to mention Tier 4 gloves and helm for transmog, as well as Fiery Warhorse's Reins.

Karazhan, as a level 70 ten-man raid instance, was opened in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. The instance is huge, scripted, and non-winged, containing twelve boss encounters, with 22 different NPCs.
