DISCLAIMER: It's WR, but I'm almost entirely certain that nobody has run this except for me. In fact I'm pretty sure I came up with it LOL.

At my skill level I can probably push this to 36 if I tried hard enough. Someone better than me could push this down to as low as 33 or 34 theoretically.

"New Game+" is a glitch achieved by using the Walking While Talking Glitch (moving around while a Warp Room cutscene is playing) to access the Load/Save screen while also having control of Crash. Doing so, you can load a save file at the same time as you enter a level, resulting in the save file loading with all of its progress, but in the level that you entered. By using this on a 0% save file, you can start the game from any level (in this case Pack Attack), essentially letting you play the entire game backwards.

Along with completely changing the route to be in descending order, there are a lot of cool things that this lets you do that you wouldn't see in a normal No GO speedrun. Diggin' It and Air Crash secret exits are both used because they now save time, and the secret pass of Snow Go is used instead of the normal route (I timed it to be a little bit faster). Additionally, through the use of the save manipulation glitch at the end of the run, you can actually skip every single boss fight (except Cortex). This shaves several minutes compared to a normal 100% run and also makes the run a lot faster paced, due to the boss fights generally being regarded as the weakest part of Crash 2.

I think it is a very cool trick that unfortunately does not currently have any representation on the leaderboards on SRcom. Maybe that will change one day if enough people started to give categories like this attention, but for now I'll run it regardless because I really like it. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/riko_ksb
