[WR] Sonic Adventure DX (GC): 130 Emblems in 5:44:45 [Part 1]
This is my 130 Emblem speedrun on Gamecube. The difference on this 130 Emblem than my PC speedrun is this uses the Tails Chao obtained from the Nintendo GameCube Japanese Software e-Catalog Disc, a demo disc made in 2003 for various games. Inside this obtains a Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Chao (which are the only way to obtain a Knuckles and Amy Chao for the game, Tails Chao being also available in Phantasy Star Online for GameCube). These Chao all start off with their stats at 250, whilst being Level 1, letting us skip the time needed to grind using Animal Glitch. With this method, which requires a GameCube that has the e-Catalog inside, another that contains a GBA Player, showing the Chao via Tiny Chao Garden (which you can use on any GBA without having to obtain a Japanese copy of Sonic Advance 1/2), and the Wii to play SADX on, as it's the faster method to play than on GameCube due to load times, we're able to transfer the Chao over from the e-catalog, onto the Tiny Chao Garden, and then over to SADX. Due to the fact the Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Chao are all adults though, it means the Pearl Course requires extra Power in order to push the ball quicker, as when the Chao is a baby, it only requires Speed to help it push the ball. But doing all of this saves well over 20 minutes raising Chao alone.
