Back in May of this year, I picked up this category again after not playing it for a exactly a year (I'm not even kidding, it was exactly a year since my last pb when I started grinding this category again and that was not planned lmao). Before this grind, I had a 2:23:57 and lowered it to a 2:20:20, so I improved my pb by more than three minutes. Given how much work I've put into grinding this category, this is easily the best speedrun I've ever done and I'm so proud of this accomplishment. I did not expect to pb by 45s, as I just wanted any time that was a 2:20. I played so consistently throughout the entire run with only 1 major mistake and a few small ones. What's funny about the major timeloss is that when I got my 2:23:57 over a year ago, I also died in Star Reactor, so it makes this run kinda poetic ;). Given how close I am to a 2:19, I will eventually grind for it, but for now, I am going to stop playing this category for awhile. Thankyou everyone who as supported me throughout this journey, I couldn't have done it without you. ❤️

Space Junk 3: +2.5s (I stunned Tarantox once before the first hit to prevent him from rotating. You can go for the first hit without stunning him, though it's very precise.)
Battlerock 1: +4s
Space Junk +3s
Star Reactor: +22s (This was the biggest mistake. I failed deathwarp because I didn't get a wallkick off the pipe frame. I also didn't make the fast firebar cycle because I got hit after backflipping and didn't land on the brown block. I also didn't go for the triple jump up to where Bowser is for consistency reasons. Lastly, I messed up the attack cancel because I did a nunchuck spin and somehow got hit by Bowser, which made him miss the glass after jumping.)
Beach Bowl 1: +2s
Beach Bowl 2: +3 (I missed the frame-perfect jump and both frame-perfect ground pounds)
Ghostly 1: +6s (During boolean, I fell off the platform, but thankfully I recovered fast, so I didn't loose too much time, nor did I die.)
Freezeflame 2: +3 (I messed up the fast cycle because during the gravity skip, I changed my direction too early, which caused me to loose most of my momentum.)
Gusty Garden 1: +7s (I didn't go for any floaty fluff 2P jumps, since they are inconsistent and lose a lot of time if you miss them)
Honeyclimb: +2s
Dark Matter Plant: +6s (I didn't go for nemi clip for consistency reasons.)
Gold Leaf 2: +3s
Gold Leaf 3: +4s
Toy Time 1: +6s (I didn't get a frame-perfect jump at the start, so I couldn't make the fast cycle. I also got trolled by the mecha koopa before the third launch star.)
Toy Time 2: +4s (I missed two 2P jumps.)
