WRAPPING UP LOOSE ENDS | Let's Plat Octopath Traveler 2 - Part 26
0We were able to wrap up several side quests along with another Crossed Path as well as obtaining several powerful weapons. Now we will continue with more final chapters as our levels continue to grow which should allow us to get through Partitio's final chapter at some point more confidently.
Trophy/Achievement Timestamps
4:21:45 - Mysteries Of The Night Sky Trophy/Achievement - This is story-related and unmissable. You will unlock this trophy/achievement when you have completed Osvald and Partitio's Crossed Path.
4:29:38 - Octopath Traveler...? Trophy/Achievement - As you gain access to more travelers you will be introduced to their Path Actions as part of their story. Each Path Action has its own use and can be changed depending on the time of day. Each traveler has a different Path Action based on the time of day however they fall into similar categories based on what they do. One of these categories is the ability to lead a townsperson along your journey through a variety of different means that all achieve the same result. Their methods in doing so however are slightly different and are dependent on criteria that the traveler needs to meet in order to have a higher success rate to get the information successfully. By doing this successfully the townsperson that you are leading around will become available to be summoned in battle for a set number of uses and also they have an ability they have a chance of using in addition to their normal attacks. Temenos's Path Action allows you to Guide to lead a townsperson during the day and is dependent on their current level so you need to be at least on or above that NPCs indicated level in order to glean for information. Partitio's Path Action allows you to Hire to lead a townsperson at night which is a guaranteed success so long as you have the funds to do so. In addition to this Partitio can take advantage of an additional Merchant talent the townsperson has access to. Typically these involve how much you can buy and sell items for or stuff to do with money skills or receiving discounts in town. Keep in mind however that the higher level the townsperson is the more money you need to spend to lead them around. Agnea's Path Action allows you to Allure during the day which is based on a percentage success which will increase as she levels up but is also determined by the level of the NPC you are trying to lead around. Finally Ochette's Path Action allows you to Befriend to lead a townsperson at night which requires her to use healing items. These can only be obtained by capturing enemies and turning them into food instead of keeping them as a Provoke action. The higher the level of the enemy the harder it will be to capture them however you can increase your chances by using BP, breaking an enemy or weakening them enough. In order to obtain this trophy/achievement you will need to have Partitio, Agnea, Temenos and Ochette in your party each with a townsperson following them around by utilising each of their Path Actions. When you have brought along four townspeople at once you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
