GOING OFF THE RAILS | Let's Plat Octopath Traveler - Part 30
0We finally got our redemption on Partitio's final boss and with that we have completed all of the main stories for our travelers and have accessed the end game. We will focus on the remaining side stories before we do that since it sounds like we would be locked out if we continue forward.
Trophy/Achievement Timestamps
58:38 - The Road To Prosperity Trophy/Achievement - This is story-related and unmissable. You will unlock this trophy/achievement when you have completed Partito's story.
58:45 - EX Skill Master Trophy/Achievement - Skills are a series of abilities a character can learn as they level up. Some of the more powerful skills are the EX skills which are completely unique to the character and the class they belong to. Each character has 2 EX skills associated with their starting job. In order for a character to learn these skills you will need to complete the same requirements however. One of these skills will unlock after you have completed that character's story and all of their chapters. The other one however will require you to find the respective Altar in order to obtain the EX skill. Altars are areas that you can find throughout the regions typically close to towns or on the way to them in the areas that you traverse between. They are also indicated on the minimap depicted as an icon with several white pillars similar to The Pantheon. In order to obtain the EX skill here however you need to ensure the traveler related to the Job as their primary is the one who interacts with the Altar as even if another character has the correct job it will always a secondary one and will not count. If you are able to find one of the Guilds related to the specific Job then they will give you a hint or tell you of the location of the Altar. The following is a list of the Altars and where to find them:
Altar Of The Lady Of Grace - North Wellgrove Trail
Altar Of The Charitable - Northern Conning Creek Coast
Altar Of The Thunderblade - Eastern Sai Sands
Altar Of The Huntress - Western Tropu'hopu Traverse
Altar Of The Scholar King - Western Winterbloom Snows (this is the same location as the Scholars Guild)
Altar Of The Trader - Western Crackridge Wilds
Altar Of The Flamebringer - Inside the Clerics Guild located in Borderfall
Altar Of The Prince Of Thieves - Southern Clockbank Highroad
When you have learned all EX skills you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
