So the Watchtowers is a weird one. I like the visuals of this level (much like the rest of the game), but it kinda suffers from the same problem a few other levels in Hub 2 do, which is that it's a ludicrously ambush heavy level. I believe the lag problem has been fixed in one of the patches, not sure though.


The boss of Hub 2 is, I would say mostly alright. The gimmick of bringing back the mechanic from Twilight Altars is interesting, and most of his attacks are good, the main attack I think is unfair and completely overkill though is the lightning attack.

I absolutely hate how the lightning just locks onto the player at all times, and it feels completely unfair compared to the rest of the attacks. I feel if the attack tracked slightly ahead or behind the player depending on where they're moving, it would be a far more engaging attack, as the player could potentially use the blade's dash ability to try and outmaneuver it rather than having to rely on hiding behind a really small pillar and waiting for him to just stop.


My favorite level of Hub 2 was probably Crystal Dunes, least favorite was probably Shadow Pantheon.
