Wreckfest Review (Xbox One)
16Bugbear Interactive, best known for the Flatout series has spent 6+ years developing their followup: Wreckfest. The result on Xbox One is easily one of the greatest racing games ever created. It's fun, unique, technically impressive, visually pleasant, and just doesn't feel like anything else out there.
The career mode sees you control a wide variety of derby style vehicles as well as novelty events like getting behind the wheel of a lawnmower and trucks.
The AI and dynamic gameplay keep the game always feeling fresh and never tires whatsoever. Multiple approaches to events also mean you will never get bored or get a real sense of repetition. I've always been a fan of the developer's work but this is the culmination of a career that has reached its pinnacle. Racing perfection
