Writing “fantôme” in Batarde script

58The distinctive Batarde 'f' is difficult to write, and I find the historical ductus challenging, especially on paper. This is one way to write the 'f' using a steel nib. I employ both substantial pressure and pen manipulation on both strokes, which I hope comes across clearly in this video.
