After the big and heated problems happened for the last weeks, an announcement was done by Gaijin: they're looking to form a player-elected "council" to improve communication between devs and playerbase and for the playerbase to have a voice in the way the development is done.
Some days ago the rules for applying as a candidate for that council were published. A lot of people didn't like them. I didn't either. And of course, it's caused yet another flamefest on the forums.

Here I explain why and give my personalviews on wether the offer is serious or not, and why I have those opinions.
Also, I've been offered an assistant spot for the council to have if they need historical information. I also comment on that role here, what it is about, what it means and why, obviously having the problems I've had (and have) with gaijin I've been willing to take that spot.
