The official Redfall Twitter account made the announcement this morning that the upcoming Arkane studios co-op looter would be locked to 30FPS on both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles when it releases on May 2nd.

This has been very disappointing for many Xbox and Microsoft fans as they wanted their premium console to be able to play the game in the most premium way. There is some hope for later as Arkane said that a 60FPS patch would be made available at a later date, but with the huge swath of games coming this summer, it'll be difficult for Redfall to get any momentum back if it doesn't come out of the game strong.
