WWZ - PHANTOM Class Guide | Multiplayer | Class Guide Series
[Class Bio]
The Phantom Class can be easily categorized to being the counter-part towards the Trapper Class.
Starting off with the Sniper Rifle, this weapon can be very underwhelming. See it that it takes 3 shots to the
body to take someone down, this isn't a good combination with how much players can strafe in this game. So unless
you are very skilled at picking off headshots, the Sniper Rifle is not a well optimized weapon.
Moving onto talking about the PDW, this weapon has very low damage output and is best used in the sense of stopping
someone from regenerating health, if not finishing them off.
The Claymore doesnt really have anything special about it. The Claymore projects 3 lasers in which enemies can see,
along with claymores being able to be shot. Something sneaky the Claymore CAN do however would be corner guarding along
with being able to hide within Staircases.
Placing a Claymore on an up going staircase will actually sometimes HIDE the lasers, making it a lot more useful
to take down enemies. If you have the fire perk for the claymore, additionally the claymore can be used similarly
to the Moltitov in blocking off pathways.
[Skill Tree]
Due to you being able to select which perks you want in your skill tree, I won't be diving
into that field too much outside of discussing weapon upgrades. Deciding which skills you want to
go with as a build is all personal preferance.
When it comes to unlocking the Upgraded Sniper Rifle, you won't be able to tell too much of a difference outside
of a slight accuracy increase.
Unlocking the Mini Scout Rifle would definitely be the more optimal thing to do. It's still a single shot weapon
and although this weapon takes 5 shots to take someone down vs 3, the Mini Scout Rifle can hold it's own far better
than the Sniper Rifle.
Now let's conclude this guide with talking about this Class' Potential Playstyle
[Play Style]
As a WARNING: This is not to tell everyone there is only ONE way of playing so follow me...... no
I'm just showing my gameplay and showing you all how this class could be proven to be viable:)
When playing as the Phantom, I decided to stick with the Mini Scout Rifle while maintaining that
mid to long range. As previously stated, it only takes 5 shots to take someone down so theres no
need to really rush people unless they're low. As for placing Claymores, you'd want to put them on
corners in which you know a lot of players pass through. Overall, playing this class Patiently is key.
