0Advent is a global force. They control everything, possess superior firepower, and, more importantly, superior numbers. It is one of the reasons I make sure to install mods that make the aliens stronger, even as I install ones that make me stronger and use more soldiers on each mission. It is important to keep the alien pods high in numbers. However, there is a side effect to that. Protect Device missions. Now, normally, this would not be a HUGE issue. Except, A Better Advent plays with the AI. So if the aliens can't get a good shot on me, they take pot shots at the objective. It is my fault for not correcting this issue when I encountered it several videos ago, but, once again, the enormous amount of aliens are too much for the Protect Device mission, and it leads to an all out bust. With that in mind, sometimes, I need a bit of a sobering mission to remind me of the stakes and that the game is not supposed to be easy.
