X-COM Terror from the Deep (OpenXCom) - Episode 38
**1440p upscaled**
Hello again.
Lobsterman Endgame Timer: 2
Well, this is the last ordinary episode, because of Endgame Timer not allowing me to do anything except UFOPedia episode anymore. Here I showcase the Hammerhead in action.
And lore-wise this one continues episode 37.

The Questionarium (Ep. 26) contains answers for some questions about this series.
The backing thumbnail for this episode is, funnily enough, once again provided by my friend as a screenshot from Subnautica.
The music list and credits to people responsible for them are at the end of the video before the outro.

XCOM ARCHIVES DOSSIER
Name and Surname: Unknown
Nickname: The Great Dreamer
Gender: Unknown (The Great Dreamer didn't disclose this information in any form in any timeline on any walkthrough of TFTD on any Youtube channel)
Date of Birth: Unknown
Star Sector: Unknown
The high leader of T'leth, a being called "The Alien Horror", "Alien so vile that death can't claim it" and so on, many times compared to Cthulhu and having a horrifying reputation.
In other timelines, where TFTD did happen, The Great Dreamer did definitely play the role of a one-dimensional villain with only one purpose - destruction of Earth. But as timelines progressed, something happened that somewhat made the alien truly out-of-this-world - they gained a medium awareness. Every timeline, every form, even any human that controlled X-COM either through manual control or through a mouse cursor - everything is known and remembered by The Great Dreamer.
Death itself truly can't claim the alien anymore.
In context of this exact series, The Great Dreamer has been bored of their constant role of being the villain. Making some relationships based on trust with their fellow aliens, thinking about the ways they can actually help X-COM - The Great Dreamer just wants to have options. While the alien can, and if necessary, will crush humanity as he done before in timelines where X-COM failed, now he decided to actually aid humanity. Just in name for some variety.
The alien also does have knowledge of FiraxisCOM universe, having played the role of Uber Ethereal. Facing multiple Youtube channel owners in the past, either being crushed by or crushing them all, the true place that The Great Dreamer is supposed to be is still here, in Terror from the Deep timelines.
Because of the abuse Wagnerson faced in this timeline (and also her facing a sad and pathetic future with a clear dead end), the alien decided to botch the villain persona after all, to reveal the truth about her immediate fate, to reveal some shocking information about timelines and to actually aid Heike in her path to T'leth chamber where they reside. Just because The Great Dreamer can.
The likes and dislikes of The Great Dreamer are unknown. However the only two things that is known about the alien's interests is that debugging with cheats into the chamber without any challenge is frowned upon and they welcome any operative that decided to save the humanity alone.
