2It is finally over. Fortunately the last level wasn't too difficult. I did lose some units, but overall, because of the inability to save, the devs seemed to take it easy for this final stretch. I was hoping that the sleeping creature would awaken for a fight at the end, but it was not to be. Fairly cheesy generic cut-scene, and that's it.
But it's done. And I'm glad I played it. Even though I ended up truly hating this game, it's good to see what made it different, and why it has the reputation it has. In my opinion, it's not a good game. It's a very disappointing sequel that destroyed what made the original game good. And the last two levels being those boring, time-consuming mazes certainly didn't help any. But it's over, it's done. I can put this away, mark it off my list, and RELAX.
