After all the suffering this game has thrown at me, it actually let me off light with one thing. I was able to capture the base commander alive. Pure luck, the sonic shot didn't kill it. I did have the option to have a unit pick up a thermal shock launcher from one of the corpses, but to not need to saved some time. Some. There was still a lot of hunting for the last enemy... who ran up and suicide against my troop. But that unlocked the last research. So here I am. I need to research the last ship Build the last ship.
