X-Kaliber 2097 (SNES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
333A playthrough of Activision's 1994 Super NES platformer, X-Kaliber 2097.
This is a thoroughly excellent, not nearly well enough recognized platformer by Athena, the developers of the equally excellent, also published by Activision NES title Sword Master.The graphics are super slick, and the music was done by the band Psykosonik - apparently they wrote the midi files that were then converted and put into the game. This soundtrack, however, is only in the US version. The Japanese version's soundtrack is quite different (and in my opinion, not as awesome).
I really like this one. The controls are great, and there are plenty of options to deal with situations with. It's smooth, intuitive, just hard enough, and a general blast to play.
