X-Men VS. Street Fighter - PS1 Gameplay - Cammy and Cyclops - Arcade Mode
3Gameplay footage of the PS1 version of X-Men VS. Street Fighter. A game which is sadly known for being one of the worst ports ever done by Capcom.
The PS1 version removed loads of frames of animation from all the characters, removed the tag feature, has seriously long loading times, back sfx and bad audio. The game also seems to run a lot slower than its Arcade and Sega Saturn counterpart.
The blame was put onto the PS1 having a lack of Rom/Ram which is why the game has frames cut and suffers from loading times. However was kind of proven to not be fully true because when Capcom ported Marvel Super Heroes VS. Street Fighter to the PS1 they showed that the game could run the same, have good sfx and audio, slightly less loading times and less frames cut. So if anything it feels more like X-Men VS. Street Fighter was either rushed for release or Capcom/Sony just didn't care that much about the port in the first place.
