This is a demonstration video of X-Plane 11 - in particular XP 11.50 running on the new Vulkan based engine. It also acts as an "unofficial trailer".

Using Vulkan is a new way to render graphics within the sim - resulting in faster and more direct video drawing. It essentially brings the rendering engine up to date and makes it future-ready for the next evolution of X-Plane.

The video shows what's possible in X-Plane both using the default platform and with many add-ons bolted on.

This video was created in X-Plane 11.50.

Add-ons used in the video:

Most airport shots are KSEA Seattle Tacoma (default)

Scenery:
Washington Ortho
Grand canyon Ortho
Corsica Ortho
HD mesh V4
UHD mesh

Aircraft:
Carenado S550 Citation
Carenado DO228 100
Carenado C208 cargomaster for XP 10
AWX DC3
Khamsin T6 Texan
VMAX 777

Add-on freeware cloud textures but the video producer can't remember where he picked them up.

There are default textures and other airports but the video producer can't remember what airports since there are thousands.

We used no plugins as many don't work with Vulkan yet.
