ElGato rec. Hello YouTube! SSGL here conducting a test of our new scenario involving Scorpion Tanks. The ideas for it where inspired by the popular World of Tanks.

Am attempting to create a 2v2 tank battle setup who's goal is to win by racking up points from the stationary Hill located in the center of the map. One does this by simply driving the tank into the hill. The map Ragnarok was the best for this, I thought.

Things worked out alright, except 'Victory' was given to the player with the most kills instead of Hill points accumulated. So there's still some fixing to do.

One mayor thing needed to be adjusted before I was able to make this test however. I found out that things where easier if the setup was broken into several mini-rounds (in this case, four) instead of one big one with re-spawnable tanks/players. This was mostly due to the fact that I can't force players to remain inside their tanks. But in any case, disembarking when one only has one life helped rid unwanted variables that would have otherwise made the scenario unplayable.

Once I choose the scenario to be made up of four mini-rounds, I had to figure out that the chosen 50 points required to win was to be accumulated through all mini-rounds, or at least, until said 50 points goal is reached.

I originally thought that one had to rack up all 50 points on each and every round. That is, the first round will not end, and thus, the game will not continue into the next round, until one reaches the 50 points. It did not turned out to be like that. If the 50 points are not reached, each round will ends when all the players on one team are destroyed instead.

I look forward into the next test. Hopefully I'll be able to get the SSGL team onboard and do the 2v2 test that I have been eager to try out!
