Overall: All the DLC included, True End obtained. Most of the random battles was cut out.
This game is such a marathon, that "speed-running" it is still going to take a week.
The story's mostly generic cliches with a couple of neat ideas. The Combat system in the game is quite interesting, you have to link your characters up via formations on the grid. Each character has points around them that, if another character is standing in, allows them to move at the same time and perform combination attacks. This will let you use faster characters to move first, or wait until after an enemy attacks to revive and use your attacks without fear of reprisal. It also allows attack with characters well across the field if they are linked to the currently selected character.
Aside from the system; Skills, Weapons, Crafting levels and stats are all fairly standard. The fields of battle are very plain and uninteresting and have little effect on things which is a slight disappointment, something wide and open with more terrain effects and with fewer, longer, battles would have been far better. -
