Microsoft announced last year that on July 29, 2024, about a month from now, they'll permanently shut down the Xbox 360 marketplace, meaning it'll no longer be possible to purchase new content for the Xbox 360 after this date. According to MetalJesusRocks (​⁠@MetalJesusRocks), some games aren't even backwards compatible with the Xbox One or the Xbox Series X/S and may no longer be available for purchase after the marketplace shut down. AWS leader KarlDaGreat's (​⁠@karldagreat) advice is to act fast and get content for the Xbox 360 while you still can. Don't wait too long, or the marketplace will shut down before you get the content, and you'll no longer be able to get it.
