With Sony's PlayStation 5 buying more studios and even more third party deals, it's obvious that Microsoft needs more developers to compete. With Xbox in 2022 being a little light, it shows that Blizzard needs more developers to make their games.
The Xbox Series X and the PS5 will continue to fight for studios and publishers this entire generation. But it looks like Xbox isn't going to stop when it coming to getting studios for their Xbox consoles and PC gaming.
