Challenge #1: Welcome back to Rockport. To get yourself resituated with street racing, you’ll be driving a Volkswagen Golf GTi. It might not be powerful, but it can sputter its way to victory if you drive it properly. Win the Skyview & Campus tollbooth time trial in under 2 minutes and 40 seconds to get back to business.
Challenge #2: You’ll also have to complete pursuit milestones to move on to your next set of car challenges. In the beginning, these challenges are easy. For example, you’ll need to be in a pursuit for over a minute to win the challenge. Trust me when I say that these challenges will become legitimately menacing later on.
Challenge #3: Good work; you’ve unlocked your next car. This Mazda RX-8 might have the livery of a racecar, but it’s still a relatively stock car. Test it out as you take on your next race: the Hwy 99 & Highlands time trial. You’ll have 2 minutes and 45 seconds to beat this time trial.
Challenge #4: Using your RX-8, obtain a bounty of at least 1,000 in a single pursuit. Just keep in mind that this period of easy challenges will end abruptly, so stay alert.
