5Microsoft has agreement in place to sign Zenimax Media for 7.5B all cash. This would grow the Microsoft first party studios from 15 to a grand total of 23 and add 2300 new developers. It would add Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog, and Roundhouse Studios to there ranks.
That means xbox now has control over franchises like Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, DOOM, Dishonored, Prey, Quake, Starfield and many more
