NOTE: This is assuming 3 vive trackers vs 8 emulated trackers with the kinect, tracking the feet, hips, elbows, chest, and knees.
Avatar is tracked with kinect, red trackers are genuine vive trackers tracked using 2 valve index base stations, the biggest downside of a kinect is probably the latency and fact you can't turn around, accuracy wise it's actually somewhat capable of delivering though, and even manages to beat 3 vive trackers in some areas such as joints being tracked instead of using IK to guess where the knees and elbows are.

OH, and kinect tracking quality was impacted slightly due to the trackers, in particular the feet being covered up partially caused a bit more inaccuracy in foot rotations than normal, so keep that in mind.
