Microsoft has always struggled in Japan with the worst sales coming recently with the Xbox One. During the 360 era they had some success with titles like Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon pushing their sales total over 1.5 million units. Recently Nier launched on the Xbox and sold well possibly showing that the audience might be more interested in Japanese inspired games then originally thought. Now Phil Spencer is looking to Japanese developers for input on the next Xbox code named Scarlet.
