Xbox Series X SSD = 10GBs In Two Seconds Uncompressed ? | RDNA 2 Ray Tracing Demo
737The Xbox Series X has been out some time, and many have been keen to point out that the full strength of it's hardware and features are not being fully utilised. Today, reports state that the SSD in the XSX next gen console can reach 5 GB/s uncompressed.
AMD have also released their RDNA 2 ray tracing demo, named Hangar 21. It gives our second real look at the ray tracing capabilities of the RX 6000 GPUs. The raytracing performance vs RTX 30 Ampere from Nvidia is a crucial question to decide the winner of next gen graphics cards.
We also seen an RX 6800 XT breaking the 3D Mark FireStrike world record, some more comments on Apple's M1 ARM based chips, and Dirt 5 devs giving their thoughts on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
