According to IDC Analyst Lewis Ward, Microsoft will continue to buy new gaming studios for Xbox in 2019 to make more Xbox One and Win 10 exclusives. In 2018, Microsoft bought Playground Games, Ninja Theory, Compulsion Games, Obsidian, InExile, Undead Labs and The Initiative. The analyst also believes that the next Xbox or Xbox 2 aka Xbox Anaconda and Xbox Lockhart will support VR.
