XCOM 2 is one of the best strategy games ever, and here, I will show you all the cutscenes in the game, all the missions, secrets i come across, most characters from the story and the ending of xcom 2.
XCOM 2 REVIEW
I never played any XCOM game previously, so jumping into the universe of XCOM was a completely new experience for me, I'm not a strategy based games fan either, but this game gripped by and just wouldn't let go, everything feels fresh and doesn't get old, the game is very unpredictable and reward. This is without a doubt one of the best strategy games out there, if not the best, it always feels fresh and allows the player to feel rewarded with every single kill and action. The player takes control of The Commander, your mission is to prevent the aliens from spreading their horror across earth, the days are limited and you cannot overlevel yourself too much, the avatar project will prevent you from taking too much time, it's basically a countdown until it's game over, it adds a lot tension and forces the player to think carefully how each day will be spent. The weapon upgrades and soldier upgrades are very rewarding, i simply wanted to go kill some advent so i could unlock that new level and have a completed dream team. The character cutomization is very well implemented, however certain portions of the customization do feel limited, such as the bandanas, not being able to change their color to suit the player's liking did force me to change a few colours.
The story is quit interesting, but it's predictable at the same time, a twist within the plot is greatly needed to make the story feel fresh, throughout the game, your objective is to destroy the aliens, there is no ultimate plot twist so from the beginning of the game, you pretty much know how the game will end.
I had my doubts watching gameplay from XCOM 2, I thought this game was not for me, but i was proven wrong when I jumped in, I was unable to jump out, it's a great game that is going to suck you in for atleast a week straight, I highly recommend XCOM 2 for those that love to use their brain in video games, you skill is rewarded here, the game may feel unfair at times, but that will be the player's fault for nto catching up with the alien progression, so everything you do is up to you, decisions are important, and XCOM 2 knows how to punish or reward the player.
