40Leaning into his role as the squad's resident classical offensive psionic, Verge shows humans how it's done with a mixture of crowd control, tanking, and target elimination abilities.
When a battle starts, he's not going to be the most devastating agent on the field, but as time goes on, he will start to hijack the minds of those opposing him, breaking apart enemy cohesion as he slowly grows into a gun saint that can nail a fly at 500 yards while regenerating through wounds that would outright kill an unarmoured human.
He has weaknesses, and there may be better out there, but I give Verge a solid "A" based on my experiences so far.
ADDENDUM: I talk in this about how reliable most of Verge's attacks are. I forget to note that, while powerful, puppetmaster has a much lower average success rate. Expect to only get half of the targets on your network when you pull the trigger.
It's also worth knowing that mach weave can give way to regen weave later on for even more reliable tanking. Also note that these are his fully promoted, trained stats.
