XCOM Enemy Unknown by 2K Games and Firaxis is finally here! It is the "spiritual successor" of the most beloved X-Com UFO Defense by MicroProse from 1994. I played the classic to death and it is by far one of my most memorable gaming experiences.

XCOM puts you in the role of a commander of a multinational military organization to defend Earth from invading aliens. Your job is to manage the organization (personnel, research, spending, base construction, etc) as well as oversee tactical missions against alien forces, from gear load-out of the squad right down to every single footfall and trigger-pull of each trooper on the ground!
