Big Sky was loaded, and our troops buckled in within minutes of the alert of an Alien terror attack in progress. If it had lingered even a few moments longer, Leilith would likely have fallen out of the medbay and straight into the ship, so perhaps it was a good thing that it was already in the air before she'd managed to learn of the attack on the Argentinian city.

While it would certainly have helped to have another soldier in the field with memetic skin, I must commend Evelynn on her heroic effort during Operation Morbid Serpent. She fearlessly pushed the boundaries of the engagement, often dipping behind enemy lines in order to reach stranded civilians and instruct them to evacuate the area.

And of course, supporting her efforts, Cerberus' terrifying accuracy made the advance significantly easier, often executing the aliens from well outside their ability to see him. Though mention must be made of Samsara's blossoming combat abilities, able to level her sniper rifle and make pin-point accurate shots even after a heavy run from one point of cover to another. A feat even Cerberus cannot match.

Overall, the operation was a stunning success, tactically speaking. However, I still find myself unable to celebrate these victories along with the other head's of staff. Three civilians were killed during this mission, although I'm certain had anyone else responded to this situation, the death toll would have been... well, absolute. Still, while we have yet to lose a single operative, a fact I am both amazed by, and thankful for, these civilian deaths weigh heavily on my mind.

If only we could have been faster. Stronger... better.
