While the team were returning from Operation Red Rain, the Hyperwave relay picked up a fast moving, cloaked ship. Naturally, once our troops were back and settled the next thing to do was to get one of our interceptors out there to take it down.

Naturally, the firestorm was the best choice, and true to form, it took it down where I'm all but certain any of our other interceptors would have failed. And so it fell, again, to our troops to clean up what was left.

However, given that this was clearly an important asset to the aliens, I chose to send our best troops on this mission. And well I did! Between the alien's overwhelming firepower, and several tactical blunders (I confess, more my fault than anyone else) our squad have found themselves in remarkably hot water!

Having already eliminated one Sectopod, and a few muton elite guards, there are still a many more to eliminate before we can find out what exactly is so important about this ship...
