The game is an expansion on the critically acclaimed XCOM - Enemy Unknown, on the PC it is a DLC pack so you have to own XCOM enemy Unknown to play it, but on PS3 and XBOX 360 its a stand alone game.

- New Multiplayer maps, units, and abilities: Create your custom squad from a wider array of options and dominate your opponent in intense, one-on-one, turn-based matches
