A decade has passed since Bradford, Campbell and their friends saved the DJ. After a big adventure, Raymond Shen along with his daughter were retrieved from a dark abandoned town by Bradford and DJ.
While Shen and Bradford managed to get the alien battleship down intact, good never lasts for long. After lots of years of stress, Raymond died in his sleep. And Lily Shen, already being an adult, had her father's legacy behind her back. While Bradford mellowed a lot thanks to his relationship with Leslie Campbell and their daughter Amelia, which was born soon after rescuing the DJ (remember, this is my headcanon, not Firaxis one), the officer still understood the need to push forward.
And so Lily Shen had to become a field operative. Having an assembled squad, she had to get the old Avalanche missiles from a confirmed crash site of XCOM interceptor.
A new adventure begins...
