Ubisoft has announced XDefiant which is a new hero shooter that will combine multiple universes from Ubisoft franchises for online multiplayer action.

In short, the game will play as a 6v6 team-based FPS arena shooter with a map rotation not too dissimilar from what you might find in Overwatch. So far the games to make a cameo in the new cross-up are The Division, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and Splinter Cell.

It will be interesting to see if the game catches and on and even more interesting to see what factions Ubisoft adds from the rest of its library.
