Chapter 6’s ending was a shocker and the fact that Pyra chose to go willingly to Malos has made Rex feel like a failure.
But Rex decides to call it quits and it takes the likes of Nia and Brighid to knock some sense into him. It worked. Gramps suggests that we seek out the third blade. Wait. A third blade? How is it possible? We head to Fonsett Village. Gramps explains that there’s a hidden temple and to reach it, we head for the forest. Upon finding the same mark as it was on the ship, it’s connected and we enter inside.
Something to mention is that for this chapter only, we won’t have access to Pyra. So whatever blades you have obtained, you need to make use of them and their true strengths if you want to succeed.
We enter the Spirit Crucible Elpys. This area is where your abilities will be limited the further you go down. Sure it starts off simple enough but the further you go down, the more limiting it gets. Due to dissipating ether, it makes things harder for Blades and their Drivers. In addition we get a backstory for Zeke and how he and his blade Pandoria are connected.
I could have went on but let’s just say that I had to take the time to grind a bit more if I am to survive. We’ll continue this in Part 26.
