* "MC" refers to the antepenultimate and penultimate chapters of the story, during which skip travel is disabled and almost no side quests can be done. Several NPCs change location during the last chapter of the story, and have different trades in their new locations. Additionally, Dulland moves around based on progress with his quest line, which is only available in the final chapter of the game.

** These trades cannot be performed during gameplay due to the nature of quest requirements in the area. It is impossible to get more than 3 stars of affinity before these characters move to a different area and no longer offer these trades.

*** Désirée changes her trades after completing a certain quest given by her, which has two branches dubbed Soldier and Sculptor. Before her future corresponds to her trades before the quest, and the branch listed is the one that makes the trade available.

**** Zukazu will move to this area after completing a quest given by him; however, completing a mutually exclusive quest will lock this trade out for the rest of the play-through, as he will remain in Colony 9.
