Time to start the trek through the Ether Mine. These winding,narrow tunnels have been taken over by the Mechon as well unfortunately,so you'll have to watch your step. There's a few Named monsters in this place as well. There's a bunch of Ether Deposits in this place to pick up Ether Crystals,so make sure to collect 'em if you want. When you reach your first target destination in here,you'll find a man named Otharon under attack by Mechon. Help fight off his attackers,and he'll introduce himself. He's informed that Juju has been kidnapped,and he tells Sharla that Gadolt has disappeared. Could he be alive somewhere? Otharon notices Shulk carries the Monado,and asks for assistance in aiding some captured Homs deeper in the mine. Sadly,Shulk has a vision of Otharon dying,and starts to doubt himself. Reyn tells Shulk to tell the party from now on about any visions,and they'll bear the burden together. Anyway,continuing through the next section of the mine afterwards. This time you won't be able to reach the next target marker,as the door to it is closed. To open it,you'll need to find the Observation Point location,and press a button on a machine there to open said door. There's plenty of monsters around here,so you may have to do some fighting. Once the door is open,head on through to reach the Central Pit of the Ether Mine.
