Fortnite Zero Build is a fast-paced and more tactical version of Fortnite Battle Royale. This means players cannot build floors, ramps, or walls. If you played Battle Royale in the past and did not like building, then we got you covered! Zero Build gameplay requires utilizing your aiming skills and understanding your surroundings — to earn a Victory Royale, you will need to take cover and take aim.
As with Fortnite Battle Royale, Fortnite Zero Build can be found in the Discover page as Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads playlists. Access the Discover page by selecting the “CHANGE” button above “PLAY!” in the Lobby.
Fortnite Zero Build has all the same items and vehicles — and takes place on the same map — as Fortnite Battle Royale. Without building, players have a consistently recharging Overshield ability for an added layer of protection. New content additions and gameplay updates are often applied to both Fortnite Zero Build and Fortnite Battle Royale.
In Fortnite Zero Build, players will need to utilize the existing cover around the map to avoid incoming fire. Would you rather make your own defenses or structures? The building ability found in Fortnite Battle Royale may be for you!
