I say "short and sweet" in the video but I guess it still came out to around 8 minutes. More like a verbal description of the bug and applying a temporary fix. Since the Festival of Universes event magnifies the issue I'm using this opportunity to "re-bump" the original video since the fix still applies now. Do note that if you play the game on XBOX, Playstation, or Switch I do NOT believe you are affected. This seems to be a steam version-specific user account authentication bug, and even at that it's worth noting that not ALL users on steam are impacted. But a decent number are.

These two videos document the bug in extensive detail. I've used these in bug reports to Bandai, though there doesn't seem to be a permanent solution. If someone happens to have the game along-side some programming & knowledge to do some debugging it might be possible to resolve without relying on Bandai, but until such an answer comes around this is the best I can to to help players out.
