Welcome back to Battle Mode. If you missed our Pokemon XD Randomizer Nuzlocke Versus series, here's a quick rundown on how Pokemon XG Randomizer Nuzlocke Versus will go. It's Zinker vs Derek in a battle to complete a Pokemon XD Nuzlocke with the least amount of deaths. There is of course a twist, this is not Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, this is a Pokemon XD Rom Hack, Pokemon XG. This rom hack introduces the Gen 4 special/physical split, as well as Gen 6 and 7 mechanics including the fairy type. There's more Shadow Pokemon, and more importantly, more Shadow moves. Pokemon XG Nuzlocke is way harder than Pokemon XD Nuzlocke. Additionally, this is a randomizer, which means every Pokemon is random with these more aggressive movesets. Tune in to see who will win, Zinker or Derek, in the return of Battle Mode.
Rules:
1. It's not a race, the goal is to have the least deaths possible by the end of the game (the final Miror. B Battle)
2. When a Pokemon faints, it dies. It can no longer be used for any purposes.
3. No game overs here, if we run out of Pokemon early on, we'll use our dead mons until we can catch suitable replacements. They cannot die twice, they're already dead.
4. No wild Pokemon (except if we run out of useable Pokemon at a given moment)
5. No purposeful rerolls
6. To reduce grinding, unlimited rare candies can be used to boost a Pokemon's level up to the levels of farthest Mt. Battle area you've reached plus 1 level for every 2 areas you've beaten.
